Pastor Twina Herbert reveals the unusual place he finds deepest meditation

Gospel singer and preacher, Pastor Twina Herbert, has shared a surprising personal detail about where he finds his deepest moments of reflection and spiritual connection.

In his revelation, it’s not the church or a quiet retreat center, but it’s the bathroom.

The revelation came during a lighthearted interview when Pastor Twina was asked to name one of his favorite places at home. Without hesitation, he pointed to what many might consider an unconventional choice.

My favorite place is the bathroom because I meditate better there. I even take like two hours while in there.

He explained that the privacy and stillness of the space allow him to connect more intimately with his thoughts, and often, with God.

“Sometimes I feel like spending the whole day in there,” he added.

Beyond his quiet time, Pastor Twina also spoke about his openness to perform gospel music in less traditional venues — including bars and hangouts — so long as the message remains positive and aligned with his beliefs.

“The bars are okay for me to go and sing at, as long as what I do there is acceptable,” he said.
