Defender Geoffrey Wasswa switches clubs in Ethiopia
Uganda Cranes defender Geoffrey Wasswa has moved to a new club in Ethiopia, following expiratio his contract.
Wasswa has put pen to paper on a two-year employment contract at Fasil Kenema Sport, moving from Ethiopian Buna (Coffee).
It should be noted that Wasswa moved to Ethiopia in August 2023, signing a two-deal with Ethiopian Coffee.
Last year, he helped the team to win the Ethiopian Cup, scoring a brace in the final against Wolatya Dicha.
He was also named in the best XI of that very season following his wonderful performances.
Before moving to Ethiopia, Wasswa had played for Vipers SC, SC Villa and KCCA FC in the Uganda Premier League.
