Transfers: Muhammad Shaban finds solace in Ethiopia

Muhammad Shaban is close to completing a transfer to Coffe FC, a side in the Ethiopian top tier league.
Shaban has been on the road looking for a new team since returning from Libya. The sharpshooter nearly joined Kenya’s Gor Mahia before the deal collapsed at the last moment.
Shaban was reportedly promised USD 30,000 (approximately Ksh 4 million) when he signed his contract.
However, he only received USD 10,000 (about Ksh 1.3 million) with the assurance that more would follow. The player was deeply disappointed, describing the situation as a great lie.
He returned to Uganda and attempted to rejoin his former team, KCCA, but the talks did not yield positive results, prompting him to return to the market.
Reports indicate he has agreed terms with Coffee FC and is set to put pen on one-year employment contract that will keep him at the club until 2026.
He has previously played for Onduparaka, KCCA, Vipers, Raja Casablanca, Al Hilal Benghazi, and Al-Anwar SC.
