Blacks Power secured a 2-0 victory against Onduparaka in FUFA Big League opening encounter at Ebenezer University playground on Sunday.

Isaac Okello and Rajab Fazil scored as Blacks Power secured a sweet victory in front of their home crowd.

The home side kicked off with venom and pace dragging the visitors on the back foot as the crowd responded in full voice.

Okello broke the deadlock in under 10 minutes with a powerful header off a well-curved corner kick thus setting the perfect tone for the game.

Fazil doubled Blacks Power’s lead with a long-range effort powering to the back of the net in the 37th minute.

Blacks Power kept knocking on the door but were not sharp enough to take away their chances in front of goal.

After narrowly missing out on a top-tier promotion, Michael Lukyamuzi’s troops started with a dominant victory alongside a clean sheet.
