BUL aims for first win of season against Maroons

BUL will hope to pick their first three points of the season when they host Maroons at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on Wednesday.

The Jinja based side began their campaign with a goalless draw versus URA and Simeon Masaba, the in charge in the absence of suspended Abbey Kikomeko wants to build on that point.

“We started with a draw against URA and we want to build on that,” he told the club media. “We created so many chances but failed to convert any and that is what we have worked on since then,” he added.

The hosts have dominated the last thirteen meetings with 8 wins and just two defeats and haven’t lost to the side since 2020.

For Maroons, it will be the maiden league game for coach Umar Abdallah Loi who leads the technical team assisted by Muhammad Ssenfuma who is now deputy after the leading the side in the past 2-3 seasons.

The Prison Warders will get the first taste of the new season after missing out on match day one.

Elsewhere on the day, Lugazi, table toppers after round one visit Entebbe UPPC at Bugonga Fisheries Ground.
