Kitara FC Secures Sh100m Shirt Sponsorship Deal

Uganda Premier League side Kitara Football Club has today announced a landmark UGX 100 million shirt sponsorship deal with Kinyara Sugar Ltd.

This agreement comes after the club’s deal with Jonard Conglomerate Investment Limited (JCIL) expired.

Jonard had signed a two-year deal with Kitara in 2023, a deal worth Sh200m.

Under the new agreement, Kinyara Sugar’s logo will feature prominently on Kitara FC’s training and matchday jerseys, giving the company significant exposure in the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup.

The sponsorship also includes branding rights at all home matches, joint press conference branding, and extensive fan engagement activities across the region.

Kitara FC CEO Atugonza Joshua praised Kinyara’s continued support since the 2023/24 season, which played a key role in the club’s Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.

“This partnership not only strengthens our financial base but also deepens our connection with fans and the community,” Atugonza said.

After a 1-1 draw against KCCA in Hoima in their league opener, Kitara are scheduled to return to action this Saturday against Vipers at Namboole.
