Sudi Ulanga: I would prefer to play KCCA Leopards than Magic Stomers

JT Lady Jaguars will take on Magic Stomers in the National Basketball League semifinal Playoffs.

The highly anticipated five-game series will begin today, with game one scheduled to be played at the YMCA Court in Wandegeya at 7:00 PM.

Speaking ahead of the game, JT Lady Jaguars head coach Sudi Ulanga stated that it will be a challenging assignment against the Magic Stormers.

“I would prefer to play KCCA Leopards than Magic Stomers in the playoffs,” Ulanga said.

“Magic Stomers are such a stubborn side. They are very unpredictable and we shall have to be at our best if we are to go past them sincerely,” he added.

The coach emphasised that their defensive strategy must be excellent, as the Magic Stormer will pose several offensive challenges.

Mercy Batamuliza has done an excellent job cleaning the glasses on both sides of the court, and Ulanga believes she is in the best mindset to continue with her assignment.

“Mercy (Batamuliza) has been such a pivotal player for us. I am confident she is ready and will still turn up to help us handle the defensive role,” the gaffer noted.
