Girlfriend Stabs Mbale Based MC Garvin Wanambwa Imran to death

Mbale City is mourning the unfortunate passing of renowned MC Garvin, real name Wanambwa Imran, who was fatally stabbed by his alleged girlfriend at his home in Majanga last night.

The tragic incident happened in the late evening, as narrated by the deceased’s close neighbor and friend, Munira. While speaking to people who had gathered around, she narrated that Garvin had a known girlfriend who stayed at his place and was known by the neighbors.

For this night, when she was away, he allegedly brought in another woman, and after they were done with their business, they bid farewell to each other.

The woman allegedly came back after sitting in the darkness when Garvin was away at around 7:00 pm. Munira recounted that she tried convincing her to go back and come back later when he was around, but she refused and chose to wait for him. 

She locked herself in her house, and it wasn’t long before she heard screams from outside. She found Garvin down, struggling for his life, and running towards the gate. 

“I saw two girls, and one of them was throwing something that she was holding across the fence. At first, I didn’t know what it was until I saw Garvin bleeding and realized maybe it would have been a knife that she used,” she said.

Munira revealed that she quickly ran and apprehended the woman so that she would not escape. She tried pleading with her to let her go, but she insisted and held her tightly with the help of the neighbors.

They tried rushing Gavin to the hospital, but he unfortunately lost his life due to the injuries. The suspect is currently detained at the Maluku Police station for further questioning.

MC Garvin was a renowned emcee at Oak Bar Mbale and also at events around Mbale City. His friends and family are currently pouring out their condolence messages on social media.
