UNMF President Eddy Kenzo responds to Museveni’s remarks on Bebe Cool’s project

UNMF President Eddy Kenzo has commented on President Museveni’s recent remarks regarding Bebe Cool and the long-promised recording studio project.
While launching his new music album compiled by the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), President Museveni revealed he had supported Bebe Cool to establish a recording center but has not received any updates on its progress.
However, he commended Kenzo and his team for making good use of the funds already extended to the industry.
Responding to the President’s statement, Kenzo told the media that it wasn’t necessary to focus on past challenges but rather on the progress that has been made.
For us we appreciate each and every step which was taken before and we started from there to where we are now. Sometimes we don’t want to go back to such conversations yet we have this.
He further noted that Bebe Cool remains an important figure in the industry despite the concerns raised.
We still need Bebe Cool in many things as an elder and he has guided us in so many things. I can’t start pointing fingers at what Bebe Cool did or didn’t do, but I believe he will sort his issues with the President.
