Ykee Benda and Emily Nyawira Set For Introduction Ceremony This Weekend

Mpaka Records boss Ykee Benda and his fiancée Emily Nyawira are gearing up to hold their customary introduction ceremony this weekend.

In June this year, Ykee and Emily embarked on their journey to formalize their marriage, with an engagement celebration marking their first step.

The couple subsequently held their Kukyala ceremony in July at Emily’s parents’ home, one of the customary ceremonies in a Buganda cultural setting.

Ykee and Emily continue to take steps towards walking down the aisle, and this Saturday, 13th September 2025, will mark their official Kwanjula, a ceremony that will be held in Naalya.

The couple’s much-anticipated introduction ceremony will be marked by Ykee Benda delivering his dowry, receiving blessings from parents, food, and a lot more.

According to reports, following their Introduction/Kwanjula ceremony, the couple will announce their wedding date.
