Police Deny Secret Arrest of Alien Skin, Declare Him Wanted

The Uganda Police has come out to address allegations that they secretly arrested the boss of Fangone Forest, also a musician, Alien Skin.

Yesterday, Alien Skin’s friends and fans appeared on social media with placards demanding his presentation. They claimed that his phones were off and he was not at his residence.

The group led by musician Fik Gaza alleged that he had been privately arrested and detained in an unknown location. They gave a 24-hour ultimatum to the security organs to present their icon, or else they would escalate the situation.

The police, through Deputy Police Spokesperson SP Patrick Onyango, denied the allegations during a radio interview, emphasizing that the singer was not in their custody, as earlier alleged.

Onyango revealed that Alien Skin was currently on the run and wanted by the police to answer questions regarding the murder of former camp member, Wilfred Namuwaya, alias Top Dancer.

He urged the public to provide any information regarding his whereabouts that could help the police locate and arrest him.

“Alien Skin is not under arrest and not in the hands of the police. I request that if anyone knows where he is, they kindly reach out to us in private. We are actively searching for him to arrest him. We need him to answer the allegations. We request the public to give us the information,” he said.
