Namuwongo Blazers swept Rezlife Saints in game two to storm the semifinals of the ongoing National Basketball League playoffs.

Nam Blazers secured a well deserved 76-61 victory against Rezlife Saints in the NBL Playoffs at the Lugogo Indoor Arena on Thursday.

Namuwongo Blazers opened up a five point lead (23-18) at the of the opening end to end quarter.

The Blazers kept the foot on the gas pedal as they extended their lead to seven points (42-35) going into the half time break.

Coming from the locker rooms, the Blazers further gripped the steering wheel as Jimmy Enabu concluded the third quarter with 3-point jump shot.

The Saints were limited to only 10 points in the final quarter at the Blazers secured a 15-point victory on the day.

Anthony Chukwurah (15 points), Jimmy Enabu (14 points) and Micheal Makiadi (11 points) led the Blazers’ chart in double digits.

On the other hand, Micheal Otieno (17 points) and Christopher Omanye (13 points) were the only two players for the Saints to reach double digits.
