Da Agent reveals his music style was inspired by cultural rhythm Kadodi

Uganda’s fastest rapper, Ivan Wabwire, known by the stage name Da Agent, has disclosed that his music style/genre was inspired by the traditional Gishu dance, Kadodi.

He explained that he chose to take that route because he wanted to stand out from the rest of his fellow rappers, who were doing the usual rap.

“When my friends started their music careers in easy staff, I chose to look for the hardest and started in Kadodi. I looked for a style that would make me stand out, and I figured out that I would do just the Kadodi style, and that’s how I broke through the limelight, ” Da Agent.

He further went ahead to reveal that his genre of music is defined as ‘Lugaflow Lufulaa’, a name he says reflects the abattoir setting, while they chop meat, adding that for him, he chops words.

Eddy Kenzo advises Alien Skin to reduce entourage for safety

“I call this genre ‘Lugaflow Lufulaa.’ The name reflects the abattoir setting, while they chop meat, we chop words. I actually started rapping over a short kadodi beat, ” Da Agent.

He also mentioned that he started his professional music career in 2016, and since then, he has never looked back.
