Ykee Benda and Emily Nyawira’s star-studded traditional wedding ceremony

Mpaka Records boss, Wyclif Tugume, real name Ykee Benda, and Emily Nyawira, stepped closer to holy matrimony with a traditional wedding ceremony (introduction) on Saturday, 13th September 2025.

The introduction ceremony held in Najeera was not short of glamour as the two longtime lovers reemphasized their intent to live together forever.

For the perfectionist that he is, Ykee Benda did not leave any room for error at the ceremony as the fashion, decor, and organisation pleased the eyes of invited guests.

The event was attended by family and close friends, and featured performances from elite local artists, including Sheebah Karungi, Lydia Jazmine, Tracy Melon, Medach Semakula, Levixone, and the B2C Entertainment trio.

Eddy Kenzo and his wife, Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, also graced the ceremony, alongside other public figures.
