CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers: Kampala Queens confident ahead of Rayon Sport WFC

Kampala Queens are set to take on Rayon Sport Women Football Club in the semifinals of the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers.

Firew Asefa Hailegebreal, Kampala Queens head coach has reminded his troops that it will be effort to see them past the Rayon Sport hurdle.

“It’s been effort that has seen us reach this far. The ladies have competed well and confident that they can even do better,” Asefa said.

“We have seen watched our opponents play and they have watched us too. I believe that my team will handle them carefully,” he added.

The Queens began with a difficult 1-0 loss but then dominated Eritrea’s Denden 7-0, giving themselves a chance to qualify as the best second-placed team among all three groups.

Queens of Soccer will therefore face Rayon Sport in the semifinals while Kenya Police Bullets will take on JKT Queens, both games to be played.
