UCC Suspends Full Figure’s Omusunsuzi Show on Salt TV Over Abusive Content

The Uganda Communications Commission has today suspended Salt Television’s show dubbed “Omusunsuzi,” citing a violation of broadcasting guidelines.

“Omusunsuzi” show airs on Salt TV during weekdays from 6:00 am to 8:00 am, featuring veteran singer Full Figure and actor Charles James Ssenkubuge.

However, according to UCC, the show has been airing abusive content, inappropriate language, and displaying unprofessional conduct by the presenters.

Based on the press release issued by UCC, the broadcasts occur during morning hours when children are likely to be watching, potentially exposing them to unsuitable material.
