“Defender Najib Fesali has departed the club following the expiration of his contract.” URA FC confirmed on Monday.

The towering defender came to the limelight in 2018 while playing for Jinja SS in the Secondary Schools games in Mbarara.

He later played for Kyagwe Ssaza before joining the Tax Collectors in 2019 on a three-year deal and later renewed.

During his time with the club, he played 52 matches and scored four goals.

He becomes the third player to leave URA FC, joining Viane Ssekajugo and Eric Ssenjobe who have reportedly joined NEC FC and Police FC of Rwanda respectively.

Acording to Swift Sports, Fesali has already agreed terms with BUL FC and likely to replace Ronald Otti who has joined Kitara FC.
