The 2024 Bika Bya Baganda football championship will officially climax on Saturday, 8th June at the Mutesa II Wankulukuku stadium.
Mpindi and Ngabi Nsamba will tussle for the overall title.
Mpindi ejected Nkima 1-0 as Ronald Sembuya scored the all-important goal in the second stanza.
Ngabi Nsamba edged Omutima Omusaggi 2-1 during the second semi-final. Bruno Bunyaga scored a brace for Ngabi Nsamba and Omutima Omusaggi’s consolation came via Fahim Ssaka.
Ngabi Nsamba have won this championship four times in 1951, 1987, 2007 and lately 2013.
On the other hand, Mpindi has won twice in 1996 and 2006.
In the third-place play-off, Nkima and Omutima Omusaggi will lock-horns for bronze.
This year marked the 50th edition of the tournament since inception.
