Tanzania’s Simba has unveiled Uganda Cranes striker Steven Mukwala on a three-year contract.

Mukwala joins as a free agent after he bid farewell to Ghana’s Asante Kotoko where he has spent the last two years.

Simba have not won the NBC Premier League crown for the last three seasons and finished last season in third place failing to cement a Caf Champions League spot and will only play on the continent in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Mukwala will walk into the footsteps of forwards Emmanuel Okwi, Hamis ‘Diego’ Kiiza and Simon Sserunkuma who have previously played for Simba.

Others are defender Murushid Jjuuko, Taddeo Lwanga and Derrick Walulya.
