Shaka Ssali: Public viewing and cremation set for April 9th
Fallen Voice Of Africa journalist Shaka Ssali is set to be cremated on Wednesday, 9th April 2025, the exact date when the public viewing of his remains is scheduled.
According to Shaka Ssali’s relative, also a journalist, Sudhir Byaruhanga, the public viewing and cremation will be done from 5 pm to 9 pm in the USA.
The public is invited to celebrate the life of the deceased whose contribution to global news is widely acclaimed.
The cremation of Dr. Shaka Ssali & public viewing will take place on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Jefferson Funeral Chapel 5755 Castlewellan Dr. Alexandria, VA 22315 Family, friends, and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects& celebrate his life.
Shaka Ssali, fondly known as “The Kabale Kid,” passed away on Thursday, 27th March 2025, at 71. May his soul Rest In Peace.
