Feffe Bussi reveals unexpected creation of viral track Who Is Who (Watch)

Feffe Bussi shared the unexpected story behind the creation of one of his most viral tracks, Who Is Who, a song that not only shook the local hip-hop scene but also created rivalries.

According to Feffe, the song was originally just a freestyle recorded in the studio, not something he ever intended to release.

I wasn’t intending to release the song. I went and freestyled in the studio and I left everyone there laughing. All the artists I dissed on the track were my friends, but I was just joking.

Despite the harsh lyrical jabs in the song, Feffe insists there was no animosity or beef at the time. However, the explosive nature of the track eventually strained some of those friendships.

The white man said if you aren’t losing friends then you aren’t growing up—so some of them had to go.

I actually called some of them and explained that the song was a joke, but it was hard to believe because the song was too dissing and it had gone viral. So I had nothing to do.

Interestingly, Feffe wasn’t even the one who put the track out into the world. The song was released by Zion Music, the producer behind the beat, and by the time Feffe found out, the song was already moving like wildfire

I was chilling in bed at my mother’s place in Nabulagala, and I found the song playing out there.

That’s when I realised it had been released. I called one friend I had dissed on the track and asked to meet—he didn’t show up. That’s how I knew I had lost him.
