Producer and Voiceover Artist Timo Pon D’Chat Announces Galaxy FM/TV Exit After 8 Years

After over eight years as a Producer, Imager, and Voice-over Artist at Galaxy FM/TV, Timothy Jjumba Omar, popularly known as Timo Pon D’Chat, has thrown in the towel.

Via a video shared on his IG, Timo Pon D’Chat expressed gratitude to his former employees, noting how it has been a growth through the 8 years he has spent at the station.

He revealed that he is leaving the station to focus on personal growth and to “become a better person.”

After a whole good eight years and some months and Galaxy FM and TV, I’m throwing in the towel.

I leave Galaxy FM in good spirits. I leave as a person who is very confident and very happy because of what I have achieved and done. I have been here for eight years as a Producer, Head of Production, and Voice Image of the Station.

I have made friends and met a lot of people who have connected me to others, and I’m so grateful. I’ve grown into the person that I am right now, and I’m so thankful to everyone I have worked with at Galaxy.

The time is now for me to find my new journey. I’m a very big dreamer, and I’ve always said, “BBC.” That’s what I dream about, and I want to achieve things that everyone can’t achieve. I am going to explore new heights. I am leaving to be a better person.
