Ibrahim Kasule can’t wait to step on the Mandela National stadium turf to represent his country.

The United States based attacking midfielder is part of Paul Put’s team in camp ahead of the two FIFA World Cup 2026 against Botswana and Algeria on Friday and Monday respectively.

“I think I am the most excited person about football returning to Namboole,” Kasule told the media after Tuesday’s training session. “For me, it has always been a dream to represent my country at Namboole and I can’t wait to step on the turf,” he added.

The New York Red Bulls II and MLS Pro Player of the Season will have to compete with Zamalek’s Travis Mutyaba, Vipers’ Allan Okello, SC Villa’s Patrick Jonah Kakande and Umar Lutalo among others.
