Ali Kimera signs a new contract at Busoga United despite going through several months without pay
It is now official that goalkeeper Ali Kimera has extended another year at Busoga United football club after the club confirming the news via its social media accounts.
Kimera joined Busoga United last year from Mbarara City after he was suspended due to allegations that he had fixed a Villa game that was played on the floodlights in Namboole stadium.
"Kimera Ali extends his stay for another year. One of the most experienced goalkeepers in Uganda Premier League at the moment will be at the Mighty Arena playing for the badge.
Thank you for the community and loyalty. Busoga United posted on its social media platforms. Ali Kimera has played for a number of clubs that include; Sports Club Villa, Sports Club Victoria University, The Saints, Kenya Revenue Authority, Kyemerine Sugar Football club among others.
Last season he helped Busoga United to finish in fourth position with 42 points last season. He was also part of the Uganda Cranes team that participated in the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN)
