Mr. Henrie bids farewell to Galaxy FM/TV after eight remarkable years

Renowned media personality Henry Arinaitwe, popularly known as Mr. Henrie, has officially signed out of Galaxy FM/TV, marking the end of an era with the Kansanga-based media outlet.

Having served the station for close to eight years, Mr. Henrie made the emotional decision to step away, a move he describes as one of the toughest in his career.

During his time at Galaxy, he not only captivated audiences with his engaging radio presence but also held a key leadership role as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the station.

I officially announce my departure from the station that has been my home, my family, and the heartbeat of my career.

He went on to express deep gratitude to the station’s management for offering him a platform to grow his talent and to the “Bazzinyi”—Galaxy’s loyal listeners—who have supported him throughout his journey.

You made me Uganda’s number one radio presenter. Together we created countless memories, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Though the announcement comes as a surprise to many, Mr. Henrie is not leaving the airwaves for good.

Instead, he is preparing to embark on a new chapter—one that he hopes will elevate his brand, sharpen his skills, and bring him closer to his dreams.

In his parting words, Mr. Henrie acknowledged that while leaving Galaxy FM/TV is a bittersweet moment, the lessons and friendships forged over the years will stay with him forever.

This has not been an easy decision… but it’s time for me to chase new dreams and pursue new goals.
