Daniel Otto has signed an employment extension at StarTimes Uganda Premier League entity Police Football Club.

The holding midfielder signed a new deal that will see him at the peace keeping funded club until 2026.

“I am excited to feature at Police Football Club for another season.” Otto noted.

Otto was part of the Police Football Club side that featured in the betPawa FUFA Big League last season, winning the trophy and getting promoted once again to the top tier division.

The hard working midfielder has also played at Express and the defunct Sports Club Victoria University (Uganda), Kenyan giants AFC Leopards and Tanzania’s African Lyon.

He reflects upon the previous season at Police Football Club.

“The 2023-2024 season in the Big League was good. We had a great team chemistry and understanding between the players, officials and management. We played our hearts out in every match. It was a perfect season” Otto remarks.

Other Police signings:

Police has also secured industrious forward Gerald Ogweti, formerly at Lugazi and BUL football clubs, Kevin Obua (Proline) and a couple of more players on their radar.

The new season is ear-marked to kick off in September 2024.
