JUST IN: FDC Sets Momentum for Nationwide Mobilization Activities with a Digital Registration
The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) party has launched a digital mobilization and recruitment program aimed at online registration for citizens to become members of the party, in kampala at the party headquarters.
On Monday, the secretary for mobilization Mr. Ajuna Daka Joseph indicated that they re-echo their commitment to mobilize and organize all change seeking Ugandans especially those who believe in the supremacy of the ballot over a bullet to cause change in Uganda come 2026 general elections.
“FDC further believes and involves in all nonviolent struggles aimed at saving Ugandans from the gun rule. Our work is not yet finished but today we also introduce to you a new form of registration that is quicker and most convenient, the online registration.”
Daka described that the future generation will mark this day as a turning point for real and necessary preparations for change in this country.
However, they will thank and remember that this was the moment that once echoed in all parts of the country that there is need for the majority to come together and topple the minority that have plundered our country, Daka added.
Ugandans desire to have a leader chosen by a ballot not a bullet who can dispense freedom and justice for all still stands, he said.
“In that spirit, we today not only launch the mobilization and recruitment plan, we also pledge ourselves to the vision, the unity and by the renewed call for greatness inspired by our party president.”
Eng. Patrick Amuriat, the party president explained that despite negative talk, FDC can come and stand together as a demonstration of their strength and determination to reassure the public that the FDC is still very awake.
Amuriat said that as they maybe aware, the last three years of their political journey has been characterized of insult, violence of the FDC leaders and hatred, however, they hope that the media should portray out that there is only one FDC because they are all united to protect the FDC party constitution.
“Nobody no matters their political size will be allowed to disorganize the FDC political party. The party in power has failed in it's promise for all to have prosperity, the ever rising levels of poverty continues in the daily lives of Ugandans, corruption, the regime has also lost direction in creating employment opportunities for the youth and the high unemployment rate is forecasted by 2026.” Said Amuriat
He also noted that abuse of human rights has continued to occur, disrespect for human life and experiencing people taken to jail without trial and the current political environment remains uncalm.
