Police aim to seal another double over Kitara

Police will be hoping to complete yet another double over visiting Kitara when the two lock horns at Kavumba on return from the international break.

The Cops beat the Royals 1-0 in the reverse fixture at Butema for a third successive premier league victory over Kitara after wins in the 2021/22 season when the Hoima based side played in the top division for the first time.

A lot has changed at Kitara since then with Wasswa Bbosa now in charge and not Brian Ssenyondo who oversaw that defeat.

Besides, the fortunes at the club have since changed with Kitara now in good form despite faltering in the last two fixtures.

They come into game 6^th on the table with 29 points while Police are six points adrift in 12^th position.

The visitors will miss Amos Etoju (suspended), Benjamin Nyakoojo (injury) as well as Marvin Nyanzi and Rogers Mugisha.

Elsewhere, second placed NEC return to action with a fixture under floodlights against seven-time champions Express FC at Lugogo.
