He is a son of a soldier – Museveni reveals Eddy Kenzo’s military roots, commends his honesty

On Saturday, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had an interaction with members of the press and creatives who gathered at the Munyonyo Commonwealth Center.
The fraternity under the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) gathered to launch the Yoweri Music Album ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
While speaking to the attendees, President Museveni praised the UNMF president, Eddy Kenzo, for being accountable for the funds he was given.
“I applaud the honesty of Kenzo because the money we gave him, he used it,” Museveni noted.
He then went on to reveal that Eddy Kenzo is the son of a soldier named Chefe Ali, very much to the shock of the crowd, which reacted in amusement.
Kenzo is a son of a soldier. He is the son of Chefe Ali. Did you tell them your father, or you are hiding it? They told me he is the son of Chefe Ali. Where are the other children of Chef Ali? And he even resembles them, they look alike.
Eddy Kenzo has always claimed that he is a product of the ghetto, and he has lived most of his life on the streets.
The internet has since reacted to President Museveni’s comments differently. Below are some of the reactions.
