Uncle Chumi released from custody following landlord altercation

Uncle Chumi recently found herself in police custody following a heated dispute with her landlord.
Reports about her arrest surfaced on Thursday evening, though details remained scant at the time. It was later confirmed that Chumi had been detained at Busabala Police Station, where she also faced theft charges reportedly filed by her landlord.
Speaking to Sanyuka TV after her release, Chumi explained the situation, revealing that the disagreement stemmed from issues surrounding the premises where her bar operates.
My landlord talks a lot and he’s the landlord of where my bar is. The issues haven’t been settled yet but we shall get there.
I thank God that I’m free now. I thought people had given up on me but that’s not the case. People came to my rescue when I got this problem.
Despite the setback, Chumi expressed gratitude to her supporters and maintained that the challenges she faces are shaping her journey.
I have faced a lot of challenges ever since I made a name for myself in the industry, but I believe these are testimonies I’ll carry with me when I finally make it to the top.
