Green Park Super Cup quarter final line ups complete, road map to finals revealed

The Green Park Super Cup quarter final line up for the open and 35+ categories is complete following the completion of the group stages.

The intensive group stages which have been ongoing for the past one month plus came to end on Sunday.

35+ Category

In the 35+ category that attracted 16 teams group, Turf Today and MCCA finished on 7 points in Group A with the former on top courtesy of more goals scored.

In Group B, Zone FC topped with 5 points followed by Cow Soka who only beat Mucho International to second spot on goal difference, The Heat and Baguma FC from Group C while from group D, Ronniph Electronics and Amka International made it out of the group.

QUARTER FINAL LINE UP 35+

Turf Today will take on Amka Estates with the winner facing Zone FC or Baguma who clash in the second quarter final.

On the opposite end, The Heat Events take on Cow Soka in the third quarter final with the winner battling either Ronniph Electronics or MCC who play the fourth quarter final.

Open Category

With the competition attracting 13 teams, the top two teams that topped groups A and B made it to the last eight with Hays International and Akabanga Drink the best two in A with 5 points and Amka International and Sixt & Jack topping with 7 & 6 respectively.

However, from group B, City Shooters who had a better goal difference joined the fray.

Since group C had five teams, three made it out of the group led by T.K Motors and followed by Eddie Suits and Machete Boys respectively.

The QUARTER FINAL line up and Road Map to FINAL

The quarter final has thrown up interesting matches with Hays Uganda vs Eddie Suits opening the stage on March 27.

The other quarter finals will see Machete Boys take on City Shooters, T.K Motors will battle Sixtus & Jack while Amka Estates and Akabanga Drink face off.

The semis for both categories are expected on 3 and 4 April with the final and third place play off on April 27, 2025.

Green Park Stadium

All matches are played at the magnificent Green Park stadium Turf situated in Mbarara opposite the famous Ntare School.

Besides the effective playing surface, the facility has spacious parking space for clients, clean dressing rooms that has washrooms and bathrooms, a prayer room for the Muslim community, saloon, restaurant and bar, washing bay and above all, the place is secured and has CCTV all over.
