DJ Nimrod Reveals His Tactics in the Entertainment Industry, Admitting to Career Sabotage Against His Rivals

Media personality and events emcee DJ Nimrod has confessed to sabotaging the careers of those who pose a threat to him.

Being one of the first people employed by Galaxy FM, there has been a rumor that he is behind most of the workers leaving the station, especially fellow deejays. During an interview at the station, DJ Nimrod acknowledged that many deejays are intimidated by him because of his longevity in the game.

Without shying away, Nimrod agreed to the fact that he had sabotaged and led to the downfall of many careers, defining it as business. In his defense, he says he has been given a platform, but in most cases, when they got to the top, they tried to outcompete him.

“That is not new because this is business. I have led to the downfall of so many people. I have given chances to many as well, but when they got their big break, they thought they were better than me; these I have sabotaged without remorse,” he said.

Nimrod recalled when he landed a well-paying gig three years ago and recruited several young DJs to join him. One of them, however, approached the manager, suggesting to him that he could work alone at a cost cheaper than what he was paying Nimrod. As a result, Nimrod and the rest of the team were fired from the gig. 

“There are many in this industry right now. You find that where you would have charged highly, someone else can work for a lower price. I took many deejays to a certain gig, and one of them looked for the manager, saying they could work alone for a cheaper price. They fired us, and I kept quiet. He worked for some time and was also later fired,” he said.

Those who wish him well, however, DJ Nimrod has revealed that he has continued to support their talent and given them a chance to grow.

“I’m not a bad person. I have a good heart because I uplift talent and support fellow deejays. But when you show me a terrible side of you, I rub you off,” he said.
