“More firm and sure the hand of courage strikes, when it obeys the watchful eye of caution” Thomson wrote with the narrative voice of Liberty.

In the mirage of Thomson’s famous quotation, Uganda Rugby star player Phillip Wokorach has hinted on the progressive trend of his national teammate Adrian Kasito who recently joined Tricastin Rugby Club in Southern France.

He does not mince words as he cautions, advises and plots for Kasito’s success in France.

No silver platter:

Wokorach urges Kasito to remain focused, committed, exhibit diligence and professionalism at all times.

He calls for Kasito’s quick mental adaptability and physical prowess to match the demands of the game.

“Here (In France), everything is entirely him and nothing will come easy unless he makes it easy by working hard, He needs to push himself and being able to adapt so fast mentally and physically” Wokorach adds.

Wokorach has vowed to provide the necessary support needed to see that his comrade adapts in the quickest time possible.

“But am here for him in case of anything and I am sure he will do well. Other than that, it will be hard and draining for him. This why he has to be ready” Wokorach remarks.

Language, French foods:

For every personalities in new confines, the element of learning a foreign language is paramount to precipitate the smooth follow of communication with teammates, members of the technical docket, fans and other people.

Therefore, the primary task for Kasito will be to grasp the key lingo in the French dialect for easy communication.

“The language (French) is hard” Wokorach who speaks fluent French now admits.

“He (Kasito) will definitely have to push himself to try and learn French” he advises on enrolling for special French classes and use of online tutorials.

“About the food, here there is a variety of good food. He will choose what will work for him or also adapt to the food here.” He adds.

Geling with teammates:

Professional Rugby, like many team sports disciplines boldly call for the right chemistry between the different teammates in the varying departments on the field of play.

This is the rapport that Kasito exactly needs to establish, grow and maintain at all times in a bid to precipitate his smooth landing at Tricastin Rugby Club.

Wokorach envisages such a positive linkage for Kasito’s quick settling into the team including a former player with Phillip who will help Kasito.

“Definitely the teammates will become his friends after seeing what he brings on the table which I know they will all love him. For starters, I have also got an old teammate who is trying to help him settle in. So, for now, it is okay” Wokorach spills the beans.

These two Uganda national team players plying their trade in France will obviously inspire and motivate many.

The duo also spans wide the doors for hundreds of young and established rugby players in the East African landlocked country.

Again, as Thomson the legend asserted; Kasito will need to bow to the watchful eye of Wokorach’s bold caution and vivid experience in France since 2020.
