Allan Okello scored in additional time to earn Vipers a deserved 1-0 win over Uganda Cranes Select side in the semi-final of the Fufa Super 8 at MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

The ex-KCCA attacker got the winner off a Milton Karisa lay off in the first minute of additional time.

The midfielder had tried to beat Bashir Ssekagya on several occasions but the Wakiso Giants goalkeeper was up to the task until then.

Vipers will now meet holders BUL in the final on August 31 at the same venue.

In the classification match, ten-man KCCA beat Maroons 4-2 on penalties following a 0-0 draw in normal time.

Musitafa Mujjuzi was sent off for Abdallah Mubiru’s side in the first half but they still fathomed the better chances in the game but were lethargic.

In the shootout, Bright Anukani, Joel Sserujongi, Ibrahim Juma and Filbert Obenchan made no mistake as Jackson Nunda and Brian Omirambe missed.

KCCA will now play NEC in the battle for 5/6 while Maroons will take on Villa for 7/8 position on August 30.
