Running an online business can be thrilling, but it also comes with challenges that few people talk about. When I first launched my online business, I thought it would solve all my financial problems. I saw many people earning money online, selling products, and offering services, and I believed that if they could do it, so could I. For the first few months, I tackled everything with energy and optimism. But gradually, reality began to hit me. Sales weren’t coming in, expenses were rising, and I was on the brink of giving up.

I live in Kampala, Uganda, and my online business focused on retail. I built a small website and tried selling products through social media platforms. At first, a few friends and family members supported me by making purchases, but beyond that circle, I struggled to reach genuine customers.
