Uncle Chumi Arrested, Detained at Busabala Police Station

Singer Uncle Chumi , real name Mushabe Crek Haidare, has been arrested and detained, following a bitter fallout with a friend.

According to reports, Uncle Chumi was arrested yesterday evening while fulfilling her obligations in Munyonyo.

She was detained at Busabala Police Station and charged with theft cases. Sheilah Price confirmed Chumi’s arrest through a series of her videos shared on her TikTok platform.

Chumi could be seen stranded at the Busabala Police Station, while in the OC’s office, and was visibly distressed, making several phone calls that seemed to be pleas for support.

Close sources to the singer revealed that they have initiated efforts to bail MC Chumi out of the Busabala Police detention, with promises of a successful outcome.
