Tracy Melon shares tips for aspiring musicians in dynamic industry

Singer Tracy Melon has stepped forward to offer heartfelt and practical advice to rising musicians seeking to establish a name and a living in today’s dynamic music industry.
In a recent sit-down interview with Spark TV’s Evelyn Mic, Tracy encouraged aspiring artists to stay committed to their craft and to build meaningful connections with people who can help them grow.
She emphasized that consistent practice and intentional networking are key to being ready when opportunities arise.
If you want to succeed in music, you need to build yourself, practice, and connect with people who can help you fulfill your dream. So that when the opportunity comes, it finds you ready.
Known for her smash hit single “Ogenda Kukilaba”, she went on to describe singing as an art, adding that creativity plays a big role in reaching people’s hearts and achieving success.
Singing is an art; if someone creates a meaningful message and delivers it well, they can make it.
Interestingly, while many artists draw inspiration from their personal experiences, Tracy revealed that she hasn’t yet created music based on her own life.
“Some people sing about what has happened in their lives, but none of my songs talk about my personal life,” she shared.
