Angelina Rieng Nyemok is a talented young netball player who is senior one at St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School.
Nyemok’s towering and imposing stature has wooed many fans at the on-going 2024 USSSSA Ball Games 2 in Teso region (Teso College, Aloet).
Standing at 6’3 feet, Nyemok’s height advantage over the opposition has helped her score at ease in the matches that St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School has played so far.
By match day four of the championship, the Kayunga zone based school had won all the matches.
St Mathias Kalemba SS recorded victories over Luzira Lukaya (38-12), Nile Citizen (23-22), Kirabubura Girls (49-12) and Matete Comprehensive (39-19).
A lion’s share of their goals have come from a familiar source; Nyemok who has scored for fun.
Other players at their disposal entail Daphine Nandyose (goal attacker), Zulaika Nagawa (center), Vivian Nagadya (wing defender) and skipper Jemimah Natukunda (goal defender), among others.
Besides netball, the USSSA Ball Games 2 include athletics, volleyball, rugby 7’s, handball and basketball (3X3).
