Pastor Wilson Bugembe, the lead Church Pastor at Worship House Nansana, is of the view that if he were a Member of Parliament, he would have proposed to the Speaker to spare a day and dedicate it to helping the needy.

He suggested that the day would be termed as the ‘Good Samaritan Day’ because he believes many people out there are struggling to make ends meet.

Coming from a humble background, Pastor Bugembe does not forget how far he has come and whenever God fills his pockets, he reaches out to the needy in different ways a habit that he has adopted and carried on several occasions.

If I were an MP, I would propose to the speaker of parliament that we spare a day (Good Samaritan) for helping the needy with foodstuffs and other items country wide.

He is also grateful to God for having turned 40 years-old a statement that he believes is a very huge milestone in his lifetime following the fact that both his parents passed on without marking 40 years.

He explained that his mother breathed her last when she was only 26 and his dad at 33. Him turning 40 marks him as the longest living member from his family.
