Sommet Eye Historic Upset Against City Oilers

*City Oilers Vs Sommet – 7pm (2-2)
City Oilers and Sommet will battle for a place in the National Basketball League finals when they meet in a decisive game five on Friday at YMCA Court in Wandegeya.
The best-of-five semifinal series is finely poised at 2-2 after Sommet stunned the defending champions 86-83 in game four on Wednesday to force a decider.
Sommet, in their maiden top-flight season, are seeking to pull off a major upset against the Oilers, who have dominated the league with 10 consecutive titles.
Their hopes will once again rest on forward Nyembo Fataki, who delivered a double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds in the previous game.
Sommet also controlled the boards 61-47, a statistic they will be keen to repeat if they are to reach the finals against Nam Blazers.
For the Oilers, new signings Chad Bowie and Kurt-Curry Wegscheider struggled to hit top form on Wednesday, with Bowie fouling out early.
That has put added pressure on the club’s trusted veteran Ben Komakech and stars Titus Lual and Fayed Bbaale to step up and protect the Oilers’ long-standing dominance.
