On Saturday, 29th June 2024, the boxing fraternity will throng the Chunchu’z auto spa and grill in Zzana, along Entebbe Road for the Gloves on fire bouts.
The day’s menu has a number of contests with several locally based professionals against visitors from Tanzania.
The headline fight will witness Catherine Nanziri will battle Tanzanian Lulu Kayage in the super bantam weight (53 kgs).

The other bouts involving Uganda and Tanzanian professionals will see the vastly experienced Joe Vegas Lubega square up against Karim Mandonga.
East and Central African champion Stanley Mugerwa shall be against Daudi Mwita, Robinson Mude Ntambi against Prosper J. Alex, Hassan Musuza facing Hamis Ally Mwerangi and Fahad Mayombwe battling Selemani Saidi.
Other fights:
In all Ugandan contests; Conrad Seruyange will take on Hassan Wele, Emmanuel Muwanguzi and John Katongole, Morgan Kaya with Patrick Tookema and Jimmy Ndabayoka with Richard Ssegujja.
Meanwhile, Douglas Kalule will battle Sarajevo Kawoya, Henry Oteba versus Kennedy Sseruyange and Isaac Kamoga against Abdul Sabatta Junior.
The other lady contest has Sharlom Nabukenya against Fiona Naigaga.
These bouts are organized by A&B Promotions with further support from a number of partners and sponsors.
Entry Fees:
Fans will pay 20,000/= for ordinary tickets, 50,000/= (VIP) and 500,000/= for a table of 5.
Gates are expected to open as early as 5 PM.
