Striker Amaku completes move to Kitara

Fred Amaku has completed his move to Kitara FC on a one-year deal. The diminutive striker joins the Royals as a free agent from Maroons FC.

He put pen to paper on 3rd July 2024 in Kampala after agreeing terms with the Hoima-based outfit.

It should be noted that Amaku had attracted the attention of League Champions SC Villa but the two parties failed to agree on personal terms.

Amaku has been consistent for the Prison Sentries since joining them from Busoga United FC in 2019. He also played at Paidha Black Angels FC.

Last season, the fearless striker was Maroons FC top scorer in the League with 12 goals.

At Kitara FC, he comes to bolster the attacking force that already has Denis Omedi and Jude Ssemugabi.

He is the third signing for Kitara FC in this transfer window, joining David Ndihabwe also from Maroons FC and Ronald Otti from BUL FC.
