Ugandan female footballer Sandra Nabweteme marked her debut at Santos Laguna in the Liga MX Femenil with a goal.
The diminutive forward came on as a substitute and scored late on as her club fell to Cruz Azul 4-1 at Instalaciones La Noria Cancha 1 on Saturday.
The Crested Cranes striker recently completed a move to Mexico from Turkish outfit Karadeniz Eregli WFC, on a two-year deal.
Nabweteme struck home in the 86th minute with a lobbed strike from outside the area to get a consolation for the visitors.
Cruz Azul had already scored through Danya Gutierez, Vivian Ikechukwu and Ximena Rios (brace).
Santos Laguna are bottom of the League after six games with just one point.
