Azawi warns of potential dangers in city after Kiteeze landfill

Swangz Avenue singer Azawi has sent heartfelt condolences to the families of the people who lost their lives in the Kiteezi garbage landfill that destroyed property a few days ago.

Azawi, born Priscilla Zawedde, while appearing on Capital FM’s political talk show “The Capital Gang”, mentioned that the disaster in Kiteezi was just the start.

She noted that according to how things are panning out across the city center and its outskirts, it is only a time bomb ticking before worse things happen.

The singer pointed at the mushrooming fuel pumps and reserves close to schools, saying that netizens could easily lose their children to a fire breakout if any slight mistake happens.

Azawi added that if Uganda was a serious functioning state, some people in leadership should have been fired by now because of the shady work they do.

She also expressed her anger toward the Kampala Capital City Authority Deputy Executive Director Eng. David Luyimbazi.
