Ray Signature keeps busy with carpentry and songwriting during music break
Singer and songwriter Ray Signature has revealed that during his break from releasing music, he has been deeply involved in songwriting and carpentry.
The artist shared that while he has stepped back from the spotlight for a while, he is gearing up for a comeback with new music soon.
I am a carpenter. I have an interior company called Eastside, where I sell furniture. Being an artist isn’t just about music—I also draw—so when I’m not singing, that’s what takes most of my time.
In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Ray Signature says he recently penned “Mpa Nkuwe,” a new single by Irene Ntale.
The two have built a strong working relationship over the years, with Ray having written several songs for her.
Me and Irene became like brother and sister. We are actually planning another collaboration, but first, I will release a solo single this year, then the collab. I also have a song with Eddy Kenzo.
