Producer Nabwiso Mathew elected to International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences

Uganda’s film industry has received another boost on the global stage as renowned producer Nabwiso Mathew, President of the Producers Guild of Uganda (PGU), has been elected among the 48 new members of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (International Emmys).

The new members represent 23 countries across the world, highlighting the Academy’s dedication to diversity and international collaboration.

The International Emmys membership is composed of distinguished professionals working in television and film from around the globe.

Members are tasked with shaping the future of international television by judging Emmy competitions, attending exclusive industry events, networking with global decision-makers, and contributing to discussions that influence storytelling worldwide.
