Nakku Fiona!! The Youth’s Choice for National Female Youth MP 2026–2030

As Uganda prepares for the 2026 general elections, Nakku Fiona has emerged as a strong and inspiring contender for the National Female Youth Member of Parliament (MP) seat. Passionate, focused, and deeply connected to the concerns of young people, Nakku is quickly becoming a household name among youth leaders and voters across the country.

Her campaign is rooted in realistic, youth-centered solutions. At the forefront of her agenda is the fight against unemployment—a challenge affecting millions of young Ugandans. Nakku is pushing for greater access to industrial training hubs and skills development programs, aiming to equip youth with practical knowledge for a competitive job market.

Agriculture, a backbone of Uganda’s economy, also features heavily in her platform. Nakku envisions a future where young people are active participants and beneficiaries in modernized, productive agriculture. She believes the sector holds untapped potential for job creation, income generation, and national growth.

Another pressing issue she is tackling head-on is the high rate of teenage pregnancies, which continues to derail the futures of many young girls. Nakku has pledged to advocate for stronger protections, reproductive health education, and policies that safeguard the wellbeing and aspirations of Uganda’s female youth.

Her leadership has drawn wide support from youth groups and regional caucuses, including from Elgon, Bugisu, Amolatar, and Lango. Young people from the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) have also rallied behind her, recognizing her loyalty to the party and her tireless efforts to mobilize youth for national development.

Nakku Fiona is no newcomer to politics. In 2021, she contested as an independent candidate for the Busia District Woman MP seat, earning over 8,000 votes. While she didn’t win that race, the experience strengthened her political insight and resilience—preparing her to return stronger and more focused on representing youth at the national level.

Beyond campaigning, Nakku is a hands-on community organizer. She actively encourages youth participation in governance and civic life, and has committed to supporting the establishment of youth-run SACCOs (Savings and Credit Cooperative Organizations) to promote financial independence and entrepreneurship at the grassroots.

With the 2026 elections on the horizon, Nakku Fiona stands out as a candidate who not only understands the issues but is ready to work with and for the youth. Her energy, experience, and vision make her a powerful advocate for the next generation—one who is ready to bring real change to Parliament.
