Kiambu Drama; Clothes Thief Brings Town to Standstill as His Stomach Swells and He Begs in Pain for Help

Residents of Githunguri in Kiambu County were treated to a free cinema after a 35-year-old man who had been stealing clothes from their hanging lines was spotted chewing the garments one by one from the sack he always carried around.

They said they had grown extremely tired of this man’s behavior, which had forced them to spend time guarding their clothes on the hanging lines as if they had nothing else to do with their lives. He had been sneaking into estates in the area with a huge sack where he would pick all their clothes from the lines.

One victim said that all his clothes had once been stolen from the hanging lines, only for him to be shocked a few days later when he saw them on display at a certain Mitumba shop in the neighborhood market.

The man knew very well that most people were busy with their jobs during the day, and this gave him the confidence to walk through the estates disguised as a garbage collector—but in reality, he had turned into their clothes thief.To Continue Reading, Click Here
