Uganda’s promising rider Jordan Schleck Ssekanwagi, 21, is set to compete in the 2024 Life Time Grand Prix Leadville Trail in Colorado, United States of America (USA).

The event will be held this Saturday, 10^th August 2024 with elite riders from across the world.

The race covers a grueling 100-mile mountain bike course which features approximately 12,000 feet of elevation gain and peaks at 12,600 feet above sea level at the summit of Columbine.

Ssekanwagi is son to the Ugandan cyclist David Matovu. He is currently ranked 2828^th in the UCI Ranking.

He was 12^th in the 2024 Africa Games held in Accra city, Ghana.
