Rickman says he was not surprised when his ex-girlfriend, Sheilah Gashumba, ended their four-year relationship via social media.

In May, Rickman and Sheilah Gashumba ended their relationship when the latter shared a public statement ending their four-year affair via social media.

How Sheilah Gashumba ended the relationship seems to have shocked many netizens but Rickman claims it was expected of her and did not surprise him.

He notes that being a celebrity, Sheilah had no other way of letting her followers know about their break up.

Rickman also maintains that he does not regret anything about his relationship with Sheilah because it has given him so much social capital.

Sheiah is a celebrity, that is how celebrities operate. As a media personality, it’s what she needed to do. Her life is not separated much from social media so it shouldn’t have surprised you much.

I am a man who has been through all conditions of life. I have been through the ghetto, being in the middle class, and the high end so nothing can shake me.

I don’t regret (being in the relationship). There is a lot I learned from it, I added quite much to my brand and gained social capital. Whoever you meet on your journey should add something to your life.

Rickman says he is now fully focused on his music and real estate businesses which consume most of his time.
